Steven Bonner

Exercise Physiologist

Steven is an Exercise Scientist currently completing a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. He works within the Parkdale Secondary College Elite Sports Pathway program in adolescent athlete development and injury prevention.

Steven is highly passionate about injury rehabilitation and prevention by ways of Evidence-Based exercise programming. He enjoys working with all members of the community in pursuit of injury rehabilitation and reduction, sport performance and overall improvement in health.

Steven’s experiences include:

  • Current Rehabilitation Coordinator – Beaumaris Sharks VAFA Premier
  • Rehabilitation trainer – Sandringham Dragons U18 TAC Cup

Steven’s qualifications include:

  • Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology – In progress 
  • Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science

Best thing about my job:

Seeing the positive effect that exercise can have on an individual. Whether it’s a decrease in pain or increase in performance, the joy it brings patients is the best bit.

Taking it easy watching a game of basketball or Football then training hard at the gym.
