Alex Lazaris

Physiotherapist

Alex graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Through his training Alex has gained experience treating patients in both AFL in the Eastern Football League (EFL), AFL NAB League and soccer through the A-League and National Premier League (NPL). He is currently completing the ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to performance.

Alex has a keen interest in identifying the specific and unique factors behind each patient’s pain and injury whilst using an individualised approach to help them successfully achieve their goals. He uses a combination of manual therapy, education, and evidence-based treatments to achieve the best possible outcomes. Alex believes that establishing an effective and authentic therapist-patient relationship greatly improves client satisfaction and empowers them to help take control of their own healthcare. He will work to achieve personalised goals for performance in sport, weekend exercise and other daily activities.

Alex enjoys rehabilitating injuries of the hip, knee and shoulder and treating neck and back pain. As a previous football and basketball player, he understands the demands of competitive sport and is passionate about helping people of all levels safely return to activity to improve their confidence and performance.
